Vijay Deverakonda's highly anticipated next film, Liger will be releasing in theatres on September 9, 2021. The official announcement regarding the release plans was made this morning (February 11) and it has made the fans super excited. Liger is directed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Charmme Kaur (Puri Connects), Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The announcement was made through a new poster that features Vijay Deverakonda in a striking pose. He looks highly energetic and vibrant and it looks like he has got an interesting character to play in Liger. The film will have a grand pan-Indian release throughout the country as the film is all set to release in different languages.

While Liger is being originally shot in Telugu and Hindi, it will have a dubbed release in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada. Liger is Vijay Deverakonda's next release and considering his stardom across the country, we can expect the film to have a grand opening at the box office. The fans are now super excitedly waiting to witness the film's teaser which is expected to release in the next few weeks. Earlier, Vijay Deverakonda had mentioned that the film's teaser will create a sensational buzz across the country and talking about the teaser, he had said, "I am guaranteeing nation wide madness!". The makers have almost completed the film's shooting and a few more scenes are left to be shot.

Liger will feature Student of the Year fame Ananya Pandey as the female lead, while Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali, and Makarand Deshpande will be seen in supporting roles. Vijay Deverakonda has undergone intense physical transformation and martial arts training for this film and it is going to be exciting to see him perform some high octane stunt sequences. We have majorly seen Vijay Deverakonda only in romantic movies and Liger will be a welcome changeover in that aspect. Director Puri Jagannadh's previous film, iSmart Shankar was a good hit at the box office, despite getting mixed reviews and the ace filmmaker will be looking forward to continuing the momentum with the Vijay Deverakonda starrer as well.
