A huge announcement came out on Monday revealing that the veteran comedian Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu will be teaming up with director Shakthi Chidambaram and the horror flick has been titled Peimama. A sample poster of the venture also made a buzz on social media.
It is known that Vadivelu had been issued a red card by the producer council after a complaint was lodged by the team of Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi. As a result, Vadivelu's Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi and an untitled venture under Suraj's direction is currently on hold. And now, Vadivelu's new movie announcement has created some murmurs among movie buffs.
When we enquired about Vadivelu's red card and the new movie announcement, sources close to the producer council revealed that Vadivelu is still under the ban and any production firm associated with the council will not sign the actor in any movie until the Pulikesi row is sorted.
It can also be noted that the poster that came out did not have any info about the production banner that is going to produce the venture. With the info, it can be said that the Vadivelu and Shakti Chidambaram will be teaming up for Peimama but the movie is unlikely to get a start as of now and will be on hold like the other two ventures.
