After Budhivantha, Upendra will be acting under the direction of Naganna in an untitled film to be produced by Shailendra Babu. Lakshmi and Gowri are the titles under consideration. Naganna has penned the script and Keshava Aditya has written the dialogues.
Music is being composed by V. Sridhar of Mussanje Maathu fame, who is also scoring the music for Master. Upendra, who is lovingly called Uppi, made news recently by acting superbly in the Tamil film Satyam, which was made simultaneously in Telugu as Salute. The role of the former Police officer who turns out to be the villain in the end has brought him much appreciation and accolades. Upendra has already made a mark in Kannada films as an actor and director. His forthcoming Budhivantha features him in four different get ups with five heroines! Budhivantha is the remake of the Tamil film Naan Avanillai.
