Young filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan is the talk of the town after the stupendous response to his second directorial, Love Today, which released in theatres last week and has turned out to be a commercial and critical success. With the film already en route to becoming a huge blockbuster, the director expressed his joy over the feedback to his latest venture in a heartfelt statement on social media. Pradeep, who also made his debut as a hero in Love Today, addressed the reaction to his film, while also thanking fans and producer Kalpathi S. Aghoram for laying his trust in him to come up with a worthy theatrical entertainer. He wrote, "Is it really happening? Are the things I'm hearing and seeing real ? The no. of shows ,midnight shows , occupancy , demand gets higher day by day. Yesterday was Monday and i saw Noon shows going houseful the families and repeat audience have started coming in . The response has been the same out of Tamil Nadu too (Bangalore , kerala, Malaysia etc) . Im no star , I'm just one among you and the love you have showered on me is immense . I trusted you and you didn't let me down , on the other hand you just put me in cloud nine .Trust works as I said . Thank you . Thank you for trusting me AGS Entertainment ,Kalpathi S.Aghoram sir. "

Speaking about the positive reports and the audience response to Love Today, Pradeep added, "Im seeing you laughing and celebrating at theatres standing at a corner the doors near the screen, which gives me the most happiness. The happiness on your face is my happiness and this is what i wanted , the sound in theatres and the happy faces . Thank you ." Pradeep Ranganathan, who earlier made his directorial debut in 2019 with the Jayam Ravi, Kajal Aggarwal, and Samyuktha Hegde-starrer Comali, has come up with a fun-filled rom-com family entertainer in Love Today, which has been produced under the AGS Entertainment banner featuring music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Released in Tamil Nadu by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies banner, the film has Ivana of Naachiyar and Hero fame as the female lead, while the supporting cast features Sathyaraj, Radhika Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Raveena, 'Finally' Bharath, Adithya Kathir, Aajeedh Khalique, Vijay Varadaraj, Akshaya Udayakumar, among others.
