The evergreen Trisha is going through a purple patch not just in her career but also in her life. Having just gotten engaged to Varun Manian and enjoying the success of her latest release Yennai Arindhaal alongside Thala Ajith, she is also working on a couple of projects. Now, we hear that Trisha has signed up for a new movie with her Samar director Thiru, in which Jai is playing the male lead. This new project is to be produced by Sushant Prasad of Film Department and Trisha's fiance Varun Manian's Radiance Media. It is said that Trisha will be playing the role of a village girl in this as yet untitled project, which has Thaman composing the music. Richard M. Nathan is to be cranking the camera and Ruben will take care of the editing of this new project for which shooting will begin from March and will happen in areas in and around Kumbakonam and Chennai.
