Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Thuppakki, which created wonders at the box office, has completed 100 successful days at the boxoffice today. Trade experts say that after Enthiran, Thuppakki has received the biggest opening collections in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The film also impressed the critics and audience alike. Vijay's fans are in cloud nine as this is his third hit after Velayudham and Nanban. Murugadoss' sleek screenplay, Santosh Sivan's electrifying camera works and Harris' background scores are the film's major plus.
Vijay's is currently shooting for Thalaiva, directed by Vijay. The film, with Amala Paul as the leading lady, is expected to show Vijay in a never-seen-before avatar.
