Superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0, directed by Shankar, has finally hit the screens on November 29. The film is being praised for its spectacular visuals, technical brilliance, and breathtaking VFX scenes apart from Shankar's visuals and the lead cast's fantastic performances.


 

Apart from Rajnikanth, Bollywood Star Akshay Kumar has managed to grab fans attention in South and has made a name for himself in the Kollywood industry as well.  Akshay Kumar's character in 2.0 was called Dr.Pakshi Rajan, an ornithologist. Akshay’s look of an evil creature with teeth, scales, and feathers is the high point of the film and the makers had released several posters to build the hype around the character.


Recent reports state that Akshay’s Character in the film was inspired by Pakshi Rajan's character is a real life inspiration of Salim Ali, who is known as the Birdman of India.  Salim Ali was one of the first Indians to conduct systematic bird surveys across India, who is also a popularised ornithology in the country. Akshay Kumar's character is said to have been designed based on Salim Ali's character and looks. 2.0's opening has been phenomenal at the box office and the film is expected to create many new records in the coming days.
