Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam is set for a grand theatrical release on January 14 for the festive occasion of Pongal / Sankranti and the fans are eagerly looking forward to the d-day. Radhe Shyam is a period romantic drama that features Pooja Hegde as the female lead and the refreshing chemistry between the lead pair is going to be one of the USPs of the movie. Radhe Shyam is directed by S Radha Krishna Kumar of Jil fame and has music composed by Justin Prabhakaran whose songs have turned out to be chartbuster hits among the masses. However, it looks like Justin will not be scoring the background music for the film.

Due to reasons unknown, the happening musical sensation Thaman S has been roped in for the background score of Radhe Shyam for its 4 south Indian languages. Thaman has turned out to be one of the most sought after composers in South Indian cinema and he has been continuously bagging exciting big projects. Thaman will be composing the BGM of Radhe Shyam for its versions in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The Hindi version will have a different composer. This announcement has taken the fans by pleasant surprise, garnering wide attention on social media.

The trailer of the film which was released recently has crossed over 70 million views on YouTube, opening to a mixed reception from the general audience. We will have to wait until the 14th of January to know how the film fares among the audience. Radhe Shyam will have a pan Indian release on a record number of screens. Produced by UV Creations, the film's supporting cast includes Krishnam Raju, Bhagyashree, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Murali Sharma, Sathyan, and others. Radhe Shyam has cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
