During the night hours of Saturday (December 25), Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan was bitten by a snake at his farmhouse in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. Fortunately, the snake was reported to be a non-venomous one. The star actor was immediately rushed to a leading private Hospital where he was treated for the snake bite. He was discharged from the hospital around 9.30 AM, earlier in the morning. He is currently said to be in good health and the fans have been requested not to worry. The additional update is that the star actor has been requested to take rest at his home.

According to reports, Salman Khan's farmhouse in Panvel is situated around a forest area. A source close to Salman Khan, while talking to India Today, was quoted as saying, "This happened on Saturday night when he (Salman Khan) was sitting and speaking to his friends. He felt a sudden sting in his arm and jerked it around. That’s when his friend saw the snake and they immediately panicked and yelled for help. Salman has seen many snakes in and around this farm. He has always asked his caretakers to be extra careful. This was the first time he had a snake bite".

This incident has garnered wide attention on social media and the fans are praying for the star actor's speedy recovery. On the professional front, Salman Khan is currently hosting the 15th season of Bigg Boss Hindi which enjoys a good fanbase. As an actor, Salman Khan was last seen in Antim: The Final Truth, the action thriller directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film features Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma in the lead roles.

Tiger 3 will be Salman Khan's next release in Hindi cinema and the fans have pinned high hopes on the mega biggie. Salman also made a super exciting revelation recently, stating that the script for the sequel of his blockbuster hit film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is ready.
