Very recently, Thalapathy Vijay’s father and director SA Chandrasekhar registered a political party named All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam and this came as an unexpected move. However, in a few minutes, Thalapathy Vijay himself released an official statement against his father. Vijay informed everyone and made it clear that he was not aware of the political party and requested his fans and well-wishers not to extend their support to the party. Vijay also made a strong warning that severe action would be taken against people who use his name or images in the political scenario. Vijay’s statement created a huge buzz on social media and people were shocked to see that Vijay stood against his own father.

It looks like Vijay is in no mood to enter politics right now as his film career seems to be progressing well. Vijay is now one of the most sought after actors in the countries who enjoys a phenomenal fan base. Having said that, Vijay’s mother Shoba has now revealed that her son and husband are not on talking terms due to differences of opinion.

Talking to a popular media house, Shoba said, “Last month, SAC asked for my signature, telling me that he is going to begin an association. I signed and gave the document since I thought it was for the welfare of the people. Last week, he asked for another signature and at that time, I understood that it was for a political party. I told SAC that I wouldn’t sign since he is doing this without Vijay’s knowledge or approval. I also withdrew the papers that I signed before and resigned from the party. He also agreed to it.

But, Vijay has told SAC several times not to talk about politics in the media, but he never listened to it. So, Vijay is not talking to SAC anymore. I can’t comment on anything about Vijay or his political plans. Only he can answer and he would be the right person to ask the questions,”. This statement from Shoba has created a huge buzz on social media and it indeed looks like Vijay is not happy with SAC’s plans or activities.

On the work front, Vijay is keenly awaiting the release of Master which is touted to release for next year’s Pongal festival. Master is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and features Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist. The fans have got huge expectations on Master and let us hope that we get to see the film as soon as possible.
