Superstar rajinikanth jailer showcase uses dialogue from dharmathin thalaivan nelson dilipkumar - Tamil Movie Cinema News

'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Jailer is the talk of the town as the highly-anticipated film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is gearing up for a massive opening in theatres worldwide starting August 10. The mass action entertainer produced under the prestigious Sun Pictures banner and featuring music composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander had an action-packed trailer released on Wednesday to an enthusiastic response. With the Jailer showcase crossing 10 million views in less than 24 hours, fans have been watching the visuals featuring Rajinikanth with keen interest, with many noticing several interesting details that have been included by director Nelson.

Among the several highlights in the Jailer showcase, there's a moment when we see Rajinikanth uttering the dialogue, "Oru alavuku mela, namma kitta peche kidaiyaadhu... veechu thaan" (After a point, I don't talk. I only slash!). Extremely observant fans of the 'Superstar' were quick to notice that Nelson Dilipkumar had reused the dialogue from one of the actor's classic blockbusters, Dharmathin Thalaivan (1988), with many appreciating the filmmaker for recreating the mass moment once again. It is to be noted that this is the second occasion director Nelson has done something in this regard after he reused the "Oru vaathi mudivu pannita, en pecha naane keka maaten" dialogue for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Beast (2022) from the box-office money-spinner Pokkiri (2007).

This subtle nod to Rajinikanth's Dharmathin Thalaivan from Nelson in the upcoming Jailer has not only won the hearts of Rajinikanth's fans everywhere but has left them wondering what more big treats await them when the film arrives in cinemas in a week's time. The film is riding on tremendous buzz and the visuals in the showcase trailer and song videos released so far have been given a double thumbs up. Jailer will see Rajinikanth sharing screen space alongside a huge ensemble star cast featuring the likes of Kannada superstar Dr. Shivarajkumar and iconic Malayalam actor Mohanlal, who will be appearing in cameo roles. The film also has Bollywood star Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Taramani and Rocky actor Vasanth Ravi, Pushpa fame Sunil, and Mirnaa Menon in key roles, while Mariyan antagonist Vinayakan is playing the villain. Jailer also includes Jaffer Sadiq, Kishore, Billy Muralee, Sugunthan, Karate Karthi, Mithun, Arshad, Marimuthu, Namo Narayana, Rithvik, Ananth, Saravanan, Aranthaangi Nisha, Mahanadi Shankar, and Kalai Arasan making appearances as well.
