Ace Tamil filmmaker Selvaraghavan experienced a shock during his return to Chennai from Madurai on an Air India flight when he misplaced his wallet on Tuesday, August 1. Extending his gratitude, Selvaraghavan wrote on X, "I missed my wallet in @airindia flight from madurai today. With in fifteen minutes they called and informed me. They have sent a mail about the contents and I collected the wallet. I'm really really impressed. A big thanks to @airindia ! (sic)". Air India then responded to the celebrated Tamil filmmaker saying, "Dear Sir, We are glad that our staff assisted you with keen dedication and reunited you with your wallet. We'll certainly convey your words to our team. We hope to share the skies with you again soon! (sic)"

With the recent trouble during his journey from Madurai to Chennai now behind him, Selvaraghavan has been keeping himself busy of late with multiple projects lined up ahead that also include films in which he will be seen on the big screen. Having made his acting debut in the blockbuster 'Thalapathy' Vijay-starrer Beast and subsequently leaving audiences impressed with his performances in Saani Kaayidham, Bakasuran, and more recently Farhana, the hit director-actor will next be seen in Vishal's highly anticipated Mark Antony alongside SJ Suryah, which is releasing on the auspicious occasion of Vinayagar Chathurthi this September, while also sharing screen space with Yogi Babu and Pushpa fame Sunil in an untitled film under debutant Ranganathan's direction. There have also been reports stating that Selvaraghavan will be making an appearance in a key role under his brother Dhanush's direction in the tentatively titled D50 being produced under the prestigious Sun Pictures banner.

Apart from his roles as an actor, Selvaraghavan is said to be currently engaged with the screenwriting works on the sequel to the 2004 blockbuster 7G Rainbow Colony, as per the latest media reports. Furthermore, fans expect the filmmaker to team up with Dhanush for Aayirathil Oruvan 2, which they announced back on New Year's Day in 2021. Production on the sequel to Aayirathil Oruvan has been long-awaited, with the duo also releasing a concept art poster for the 2010 action-adventure film, which garnered a phenomenal response on social media and left fans mighty excited.
