Their chemistry in the 1999 blockbuster turned out to be one of the biggest USPs, with the actress playing the character Neelambari going toe to toe with the 'Superstar'. Apart from Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan, Jailer's star cast also includes Taramani and Rocky fame Vasanth Ravi, comedian Yogi Babu and Malayalam actor Vinayakan in major supporting roles, with 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
