Shruti Hassan is one of the top actresses as well as a playback singer who works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema and has garnered adulation for her work. She has always been honest and straightforward with her experiences of whatever she has faced in the film industry. She has never shied away from stepping forward with her opinion and has been unapologetic about it. In a recent interview with Hauterrfly, she spoke about her nose surgery and fillers.
While speaking to them, Shruti Hassan has put an end to the speculation and constant gossips of the people who thought that she has surgically enhanced her nose. She said that she had a deviated septum which used to hurt a lot and therefore opted for surgery because of that very reason.

She said, “I did get my nose fixed and it was very obvious I got my nose fixed. My nose was broken and quite different from before and I did my first film with my old nose. And people are like she’s just using the deviated septum excuse. No, I did have a deviated septum, it hurt. But if I could make it prettier, it’s my face, why wouldn’t I? It was that simple. I don’t feel the need to justify why I want to look a certain way for myself.”

When asked if she got fillers, she simply answered with a 'YES'. The ‘7aum Arivu’ actress even mentioned that if she suddenly wanted a facelift tomorrow, she would do it. It is her body and her choice to get it done or not. Shruti further spoke about the remarks she received from the industry. She said people told her, "'You don’t look like a heroine’, ‘Shruti has a foreigner’s face’, ‘She’s very talented but she doesn’t look Indian enough', and whatnot."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shruti Haasan is currently juggling 3 projects which are all currently being filmed. She will be seen in the tentatively titled NBK107 in which she will share the screen with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Waltair Veerayya with Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja, and finally Salaar in which she will act alongside Baahubali hunk Prabhas.
