'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Jailer has crossed 525 crores in worldwide gross collections, Sun Pictures had announced earlier in the day, with the prestigious production-distribution banner now releasing a new promo along with the news of the massive achievement at the box office. The new promo shows the transformation of the iconic Tamil actor as a police officer during his younger days in the story and was one of the major highlights of the film directed by blockbuster filmmaker Nelson Dilipkumar, which featured music composed by 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander.

Jailer's box office run has been phenomenal around the world and the film continues to witness a strong showing in cinemas everywhere. The buzz and the excitement surrounding the film has not gone down three weeks since its release, with the latest box office numbers proving testimony to Rajinikanth's massive star power overseas as well. Considering there have been no big releases since Jailer came out in theatres on August 10 and no major releases up next in the days ahead, it looks like the Rajinikanth-starrer will continue its box office rampage as it now remains to be seen what new records the film goes on to shatter and create.
The success of Jailer can be a story of its own since each of Rajinikanth and director Nelson Dilipkumar's previous films, Annaatthe (2021) and Beast (2022), received mixed feedback despite turning out to be box office hits.
