Blockbuster director Sundar. C is one of the few filmmakers in Tamil cinema to adapt himself to different genres, including tasting immense success over the years with his Aranmanai franchise. The latest film in the franchise, Aranmanai 3, released in theatres on Friday as a grand Ayudha Pooja treat and has taken a stellar opening. Jointly produced by Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media, producer Khushbu Sundar took to social media to share a video of audiences thronging theatres, including advance bookings of housefull shows everywhere.
Sharing the video on Twitter, Khushbu extended her gratitude to fans for their response towards Aranmanai 3 and wrote, "Thank you so much for your love and support, as always. A huge thank you from #AvniCineMax Production house and a very warm thanks and gratitude from #SundarC and his team. Great to see women n kids back in the theatres. #Aranmanai3 #Superhit #Familyentertainment". Prior to the release of Aranmanai 3, Sundar. C had said that the film has been made keeping in mind audiences of all ages as it includes a story with fantasy horror comedy elements that will keep everyone engaged throughout. Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies is distributing Aranmanai 3 starring Arya, Raashi Khanna, Andrea Jeremiah and Sundar. C in the lead roles, with the film also marking the final appearance of comedy superstar Padmashri Dr. Vivekh after he passed away in April this year. Vivekh is lent support by Yogi Babu and Manobala for the comedy and their antics are a big USP for Aranmanai 3, with the supporting cast also featuring names like Sakshi Agarwal, Myna Nandhini, and several others. The film's technical team includes cinematographer UK Senthil Kumar and editor Fenny Oliver, while the stunt sequences have been choreographed by Peter Hein, Thalapathy Dinesh, and Pradeep Dinesh.
