A Wednesday director Neeraj Pandey's Special 26, which has received the thumbs up from critics and fans, is likely to be remade in the South, soon. The director has apparently received many offers from producers down South for the remake rights. Interestingly his A Wednesday was remade by Kamal Haasan in Tamil, as Unnaipol Oruvan and Telugu as Eeenadu. Special 26 is based on a real-life incident from the 80s, and stars Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.
