Siddharth has breezy start
Siddharth, who made his debut in Vannathu Poochi as hero, aspired to be a playback singer but is happy with the turnaround in his career. With the title "Best voice of the Middle East" (he completed his Business Administration degree in Dubai) Siddharth set his heart on getting a start in Kollywood. Lured by the modelling world, he became a popular model, rubbing shoulders with other leading models.
With one thing leading to another, Siddharth was the first choice of director Azhagappan to play the father of the child artiste in Vannathu Poochi. Siddharth said he had his task cut out in a movie focusing on the relationship between a child and her grandfather.
Acceding that it was a tough task to play the father character in his debut role, Siddharth said he kept it simple, doing just what the director ordered. Sharing screen space with another newcomer Madhavi Sharma did help to drive away the debut blues. "I guess we hit it off well as husband and wife with our relaxed approach," muses Siddharth. Shaying in shape and gearing up for the challenges ahead, Siddharth seems set for a long filmi innings.
