The Tamil New Year celebrations were rife this holiday season and there were some notable releases in the theaters. Shivalinga directed by P Vasu is going on an amazing run at the box office with good collections in the first weekend.

The movie starring Lawrence, Shakthi, Rithika Sing treads the familiar horror comedy path and has a strong performance by Vadivelu as well adding to the popularity.

Shivalinga launched with Pa Paandi directed by Dhanush, a breezy entertainer and Kadamban that had Arya’s strong commitment to excellence. The collection reports are yet to be revealed as it has been just three days since the movie got launched.
