It's official - Gokulam Gopalan's Sree Gokulam Movies has acquired the Tamil Nadu and Kerala theatrical distribution rights of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan releasing in cinemas worldwide on September 7. The blockbuster Malayalam distribution banner shared the big news on X on Friday, August 18, while extending their gratitude to producer Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Jawan will be Sree Gokulam Movies' next big release in Kerala after they recently presented 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Jailer, which has turned out to be a phenomenal box office success and is still going strong in its second week. 

Sree Gokulam Movies will also be releasing Jawan in Tamil Nadu in association with the prestigious Tamil production and distribution Red Giant Movies banner. The buzz surrounding the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer directed by blockbuster Tamil director Atlee is huge and expectations are high for the film to take a stellar opening in theatres across Tamil Nadu and Kerala as well. Sree Gokulam Movies has been on a roll lately securing the theatrical distribution rights of big films starting with Rajinikanth's Jailer, followed by 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo, and Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan now. 

Jawan is carrying tremendous excitement among fans in South India considering it also includes several big Tamil cinema names starting with director Atlee, who is making his big Bollywood debut after three box office hits on the trot with Vijay - Theri (2016), Mersal (2017), and Bigil (2019). Likewise, the upcoming Hindi film also releasing in Tamil and Telugu languages, is the launchpad for 'Lady Superstar' Nayanthara, composer 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer GK Vishnu and editor Ruben in Bollywood. Jawan also has Shah Rukh Khan clashing with Vijay Sethupathi on the big screen, while Deepika Padukone is making a special appearance, with Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover set to be seen in pivotal roles.
