It came as a pleasant surprise when director Selvaraghavan signed Santhanam to play the lead in his next film. Though details regarding the project are yet to be relieved, earlier there were reports that this will be Selva's first attempt on a full-length comedy script. However, during a live chat session with his fan, the director has clarified that the film will not be a full-fledged comedy. Music director Yuvanshankar Raja further revealed that the project will be on the lines of 7G Rainbow Colony.
Santhanam is also likely to undergo a complete image makeover for this project. The shoot will begin after Selva and Santhanam complete their ongoing project.
