Sathyaraj debuts in Malayalam?

Popular Tamil actor Sathyaraj, who shot to national fame with the lead role in the biopic Periyar (2007), is reportedly making his debut in Malayalam with director Prasad Yadav's action crime thriller Trigger, which beganshooting in Thiruvananthapuram recently.

If the reports are to be believed, Sathyaraj is the second top Tamil actor inrecent times to act in a Malayalam film. (The otheris Pasupathi, making his second appearance in Malayalam with Vairam.) Sathyaraj is rumoured tohave a meaty role in this film starring debutant Shaun George (son of MLA P.C. George and son-in-law of Malayalam actor Jagathy Sreekumar) and Tamil actress Manasa in the lead roles.

Produced by Sujith Varghese under the banner of 4M, Trigger revolves around Adityan (Shaun George), whose parents were brutally murdered during his childhood. The plot develops on how Adityan, who later becomes a goonda, takes revenge on his parents' murderer and safeguards his lady lover Bhama (Manasa), a lonely girl seeking a safe place away from hooligans!
