Sasikumar's next film, MGR Magan is ready for release and it will be a summer treat for the fans. The makers have made a big announcement, revealing that the film will be released in theatres on April 23, 2021. It looks like the team has decided to release the film after the Tamil New Year weekend and let us hope that the film turns out to be a success at the box office. MGR Magan is directed by Ponram who is known for directing comedy entertainers like Varuthapadaadha Vaalibar Sangam, Rajini Murugan, and Seemaraja. After working with Sivakarthikeyan in his first three films, director Ponram has now collaborated with another actor, and let us see how this new combination works out. Produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the film features Super Deluxe fame Mirnalini Ravi as the female lead and it is going to be interesting to see the young talent in a rural film for the first time.

Ace actor Sathyaraj and Samuthirakani will be seen in crucial roles, while the star cast also includes Saranya Ponvannan, Nandita Swetha, Singam Puli, Pazha Karuppiah, Motta Rajendran, Ramachandran, and others. Samuthirakani will be seen in a comic role in this film and it is going to be exciting to see this fresh side of the talented actor. Popular singer Anthony Daasan has composed music for this film. The film's cinematography is handled by Vinoth Rathinasamy, while the editing and art direction departments are headed by Vivek Harshan and G Durai Raj respectively. The trailer of the film was released for last year's Diwali festival and it got a mixed response from the film buffs.

If the film is packed well with all commercial elements in right elements, it will be well received by the masses. MGR Magan is touted to be a celebratory family entertainer. With two more months there for the film's release, the makers will start with the promotions very soon. His another film, Kombu Vatcha Singamda is also ready for release and that film is expected to hit the screens after the release of MGR Magan.
