The Padma Awards list for this year is out. Kamal Haasan and Vairamuthu have been honoured with the Padma Bhushan Award. Another addition to the Padma Awards list is ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan. He has been honoured with the Padma Shri Award for his contribution to Indian Cinema.
Santhosh Sivan says, “It feels good to have been chosen for the award. I'm grateful to the Tamil film industry for this honour. I'm very grateful to the graduates of the film institute of Pune for proposing my name to be considered for this honour."
