Comedian turned hero Santhanam's latest release, Parris Jeyaraj, has turned out to be a success for the actor, with fans and critics praising him for his performance. Santhanam's Biskoth released last year as a Diwali treat incidentally is the first Tamil film to hit theatres after the lockdown in the state shut down cinema halls for nearly eight months. As Tamil cinema is slowly coming back to its usual form with more new releases, Santhanam's much-awaited comedy entertainer, Dikkiloona, is gearing up to come out in the days ahead.

Dikkiloona has Santhanam playing a triple role in his career for the first time, with the film billed to be a science-fiction romantic comedy. The upcoming film has a number of big highlights apart from Santhanam and that also includes celebrated composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, with fans looking forward to yet another memorable album from him. Janaki and lyrics penned by "Kavignar" Vaali.

Directed by newcomer Karthik Yogi under the joint production of KJR Studios and Balloon director Sinish’s Soldiers Factory banners, Santhanam's Dikkiloona also includes in its star cast names like Indian Cricket Team and Chennai Super Kings cricketer Harbhajan Singh making his Tamil cinema debut. The film will also see Santhanam paired opposite Anagha of Natpe Thunai fame, with Yogi Babu, Shirin Kanchwala, Anand Raj, Munish Kanth, Motta Rajendiran, Chitra lakshmanan, Arun Alexander, Sha Rah and YouTuber Prashanth forming the supporting cast.
