Samasathakeralam P.O. on April 11
Jayaram's much-awaited family entertainer Samasathakeralam P.O., directed by Bibin Prabhakar, former assistant to directors Ranjith, Shaji Kailaas and Padmakumar, will be released on April 11 in around 50 centres across the state. Scripted by K. Gireesh Kumar of Veruthe Oru Bharya fame, the film is produced by Howly Pottur�under the banner of Dream Team productions.
Samasathakeralam P.O. is a family-based entertainer in which Jayaram plays the role of a Gandhian named Prabhakaran, who dares to question the wrongdoings of both the ruling party as well as the opposition in Thonnoorkkara village. The film revolves around some surprising happenings in Prabhakaran's life.
Actress Priyanka of the critically-acclaimed Veyyil (Tamil) and newcomer Sera are the heroines. According to reports, Priyanka dons the role of Radha, a woman "who every woman wistfully aspires to be."
Also in the cast are Jagathy Sreekumar, Jagadish, Janardhanan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar, Kalabhavan, Shaju, Prajodh, Ershad and others. M. Jayachandran has set music to lyrics written by Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma. Rajaratnam wields the camera while Ranjan Abraham handles the editing.
