Although not much is known at this point, media reports state the staff members have been admitted to a hospital, with the Bigg Boss 14 host himself funding for their medical treatment. No statement has been issued by Salman or any of his family members as yet.

According to reports, Salman Khan's writer-father Salim Khan and mother Salma were at his place to celebrate their 56th wedding anniversary on November 18. However, those celebrations were called off due to the unexpected COVID-19 situation at their residence. Furthermore, no statement has been issued by the Bigg Boss team either as to who will be hosting the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes in the actor's absence. Salman Khan is currently hosting Bigg Boss season 14 airing on Colors TV every night, while also making appearances on the Weekend Ka Vaar special episodes on Saturday and Sunday.

On the film front, Salman Khan recently wrapped up production on his upcoming biggie, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Currently in its post-production stages, Radhe has been directed by Prabhu Deva and is the third time he has collaborated with Salman after their previous outings namely Wanted and last year's Dabangg 3. Disha Patani is playing the female lead, while Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Tamil actor Bharath have been cast in vital roles in the film. Initially announced to be an Eid treat this year, those plans have since changed due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the makers yet to reveal a new release date. Furthermore, there are also reports now doing the rounds that Salman will be reprising his character Prem from the 1989 smash hit Maine Pyar Kiya, along with Shah Rukh Khan, who will be returning to play his iconic Raj Malhotra character from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge for Aamir Khan's upcoming venture, Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an official remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump. As of now, the news has left fans highly excited and it remains to be seen if it turns out to be true.
