Saji Surendran's debut
Saji Surendran, one of today's successful�TV directors today, recently won the Best Tele-Serial Award for his Daya (Kairali TV) in Kerala State Television Awards 2007. This young director has also made many super hit TV serials like Megham, Alippazham, Mandharam and Ammakkay aired in various TV channels. Now, Saji Surendran is all set to debut into films!
His untitled debut film, featuring actor Jayasuriya in the lead,�is about the meaning of marriage and tells the story of a young man who is forced to marry at a young age for the sake of his ever warring parents.
Planned to start�shooting by 20th February, the film will also feature Siddhique, Anoop Menon, Suresh Krissna, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Manianpillai Raju, Samvrutha, Rekha, Kalaranjini and Mallika Sukuran in important roles. The crew has not yet finalized the heroine, who�could be a new face.
Jayasuriya is currently busy shooting two film:�director Viswanathan's upcoming Dr. Patient (also spelt as Doctor Patient) and debutante director Swathi Bhaskar's Currency.
