Controversies are not new to Kamal Haasan. This time, for Sabash Naidu too he has earned the wrath of few politicians. Tirumavalavan’s Viduthalai Sirutthai party has raised its voice against the title as they feel that the film might trigger caste-based violence. They have alleged that caste-based violence is on an all-time high i the state and the government should restrict entertainment tax waiver for film's with caste name.
