A popular name among South Indian cinema fans, Regina Cassandra made her debut in Kanda Naal Mudhal when she was fifteen years old. She subsequently went on to make heads turn as one of the female leads in the Sivakarthikeyan-Vemal starrer Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga in 2013 and appeared in several notable Tamil and Telugu films thereafter. Known to be selective about her roles, Regina is an active social media user and constantly treats fans to her photoshoots. 

Regina Cassandra, who recently celebrated her birthday on December 13, posted a photo of herself on Instagram amidst an exotic backdrop and thanked fans for their wishes. She wrote, "Thank you for your wishes and blessings this means the world to me", while also adding a footnote stating, "Swipe left for nudes", which instantly attracted everyone's attention. However, those who had followed the Rajathandhiram actress' instructions were in for a big surprise as she pulled off a big troll. It turned out that Regina had shared adorable childhood throwback pictures of herself as a toddler, including one where she is seen playing around in a bathtub. Several memes too speaking about how the Maanagaram actress had the last laugh went viral on social media, which as well she shared on her Instagram story. 

All set to be seen next in Vishal's highly-anticipated action thriller film, Chakra, Regina Cassandra is reportedly playing the villain, with Shraddha Srinath cast as the female lead. Regina is also awaiting the release of her long-delayed Tamil films Nenjam Marappathillai alongside SJ Suryah and Nandita Swetha under Selvaraghavan's direction and Venkat Prabhu's multi-starrer heist comedy b. In addition, she is attached to the Arvind Swami starrer Kallapart and director Chimbu Devan's Kasada Thapara in which she will be sharing screen space with Harish Kalyan, Premgi Amaren, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Sundeep Kishan, Venkat Prabhu and Vijayalakshmi. 

Regina has been appreciated over the years for her strong performances, most notably in films like Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Rajathandhiram and Maanagaram in Tamil and Shiva Manasulo Shruti, Awe and Evaru in Telugu. She will also be seen in a horror thriller bilingual titled Soorpanagai in Tamil and Nene Na in Telugu under Caarthick Raju's direction.
