Rajni in Bengali film remake?
In 1995, Raghuram (famous dance choreographer) directed a Bengali film, Bhagya Devta. Superstar Rajinikanth acted in this film as a revolutionary poet. Now talks are on to remake this film in Tamil with superstar in the same role in Tamil version.
Raghuram, who entered Tamil films as a child artist in 1959, went on to become one of the most successful dance choreographers of Kollywood. He has worked as a choreographer in almost 1000 films and loves acting as much as he loves dancing. He states that he will concentrate more on acting and direction in future. His daughter Gayathri also is an actress AND a dance choreographer.
We recently saw Raghuram’s acting skills in Dasavathaaram; he appeared as Appa Rao, assistant to Balaram Naidu (one of the ten characters played by Kamal Haasan).
