Rajendra Prasad to make world's largest dosa

Comedy king Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the hero of Quick Gun Murugun, has decided to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by preparing the largest dosa in the world. He would do this at Sankalp restaurant in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Notably, Sankalp restaurant is the current Guinness record holder with a 30-feet-long dosa.

Sixteen cooks will help him make the world's largest dosa and his target is to break the record in less than 40 minutes. "We are going to break our own previous record of a 30-feet dosa. We will make a 31-feet dosa on Wednesday at our SG Road outlet. The dosa will be known as Quick Gun Murugun dosa," Sankalp general manager Jolly Christian said. Scheduled for an August 28 release, Quick Gun Murugan is produced by Fox Star Studios.

Vivek Krishnani of Fox Star Studios said: "Quick Gun Murugun is a quirky sambhar comedy. Since the film promotes the importance of vegetarian food, we thought it would be a good idea to make Prasad promote vegetarianism by making this South Indian delicacy of a size never made before."

Quick Gun Murugan, the protagonist, is a cowboy fighting for the virtues of vegetarian food, while the villain advocates non-vegetarian dishes. This film is a satire on the war between veg and non-veg food enthusiasts.
