The first look poster of Raghava Lawrence;s Rudhran was unveiled recently and it looked powerful and intense. The first look grabbed the eyeballs of the netizens instantly. That being said, the makers have now made the big announcement, revealing the release date of the movie. It has been officially confirmed that Rudhran will hit the screens on December 23, ahead of the Christmas weekend. The official announcement on the release date was made through the second look poster which looks intense and riveting. The second look features Raghava Lawrence in an evil shade and it looks like he has played a suspenseful character this time.

The poster has an interesting tagline that says, "Evil is not born... It is created". We see an evil looking Raghava Lawrence holding a beer bottle in the poster and it piques our curiosity. Rudhran is directed by leading producer S Kathiresan who will be making his directorial debut with this one. S Kathiresan is best known for bankrolling quality hit films like Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Jigarthanda, and more. GV Prakash Kumar will be scoring music for this film that has cinematography handled by RD Rajasekhar ISC. Anthony has edited the film, while the action choreography is taken care of by Stun Siva and Vicky. KP Thirumaaran has penned the story and screenplay of Rudhran.

Raghava Lawrence was last seen in Kanchana 3 which released in April 2019 and after a long gap of 3.5 years, his next film will release. Apart from Rudhran, Lawrence has two other films in his lineup - Adhigaram and Chandramukhi 2. Adhigaram is helmed by Durai Senthilkumar of Ethir Neechal fame and has story penned by Vetri Maaran. Chandramukhi 2 will be directed by P Vasu and produced by Lyca Productions on a grand scale. Vadivelu will be playing a pivotal role in this mega biggie.
