Varun who has appeared in some remarkable cameo roles in films including Bogan, Neruppu da, and night show is all set to make his debut as a hero in the movie titled Puppy. The adult comedy-drama film is written and directed by Nattu Dev on his directorial debut who was an associate to Kaaka Muttai director Manikandan earlier. Samyuktha Hegde, who has become a sensation among youngsters after her performance in Jayam Ravi's recent blockbuster Comali is playing the lady lead in Puppy. Trending comedian Yogi Babu will also be playing an important role in the film. Puppy is produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under his production banner Vels Film International and the music for the film is composed by Dharan Kumar. With the big release on October 11th, the team released the official trailer of Puppy a couple of days back.
The romantic song Anji Manikku from the album of Puppy is already among the hit numbers for this year and the song has the magical voices of Yuvan Shankar Raja and Shashaa Tirupati.
