Prasanna's inspirations in life
With his penchant to play different roles, Prasanna is surely an asset to Kollywood. He pleasantly surprised everyone with his negative role in Anjaathe and proved that he does not want to be typecast in his roles. He loves variety, which made him try his hand in the comic film Cheena Thaana 001 and Saathumirandal. Now the actor is back with UTV's Muran, co-starring Cheran. So who really inspires him to take up more challenging roles in cinema?
"In my personal life, my mentor is director Siddique, who has made Friends, Engal Anna, my film Saadhu Mirandaa, Kaavalan and now Bodygaurd with Sallu bhai. He is a complete gentleman, very polite, humble and a man of few words. I haven’t met anyone like him. I always go to him for advice," Prasanna said in an exclusive interview to Galatta.com.
And in Kollywood, it looks like Suriya and Vikram are his role models. "As an actor, I am inspired by Vikram and Suriya. They both had great conviction to win and never gave up even in hard times. Vikram had to struggle for a long time to make to this big in the industry. Suriya too took up all the challenges thrown at him to succeed," he added.
