Prabhas has a massive fan following across the country. After the Baahubali franchise, his fandom grew multifold. So much so that one of these hardcore fans recently wrote a letter and shared it online. It was a letter threatening suicide mentioning how he would end his life if details about Prabhas' upcoming project Salaar are not revealed soon. The letter said that earlier the director of the film, Prashanth Neel, promised to reveal details of the shooting of Salaar soon but since he has not done it yet and pushed it further, the fan came out and made the threats.

The letter is currently going viral all over social media which implies that the fan is super unhappy with how the makers of Salaar are not giving any update regarding the film even after saying that they would. In fact, this is not the first but the second time that a letter threatening suicide has been written by a Prabhas fan. Earlier before the release of Radhe Shyam, a letter went viral with a fan making similar demands of either getting updates or ending his own life.

The letter stated the issues that resulted in this decision and at the end of it, "We are already hurt and disappointed as the same happened during Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and Prabhas’s previous movies. If we do not get glimpses of Salaar this month, then I will suicide for sure. We want Salaar updates", was written which ended up sending people on social media into a frenzy.

Salaar will apparently be one of the most violent films ever made in Indian cinema to date. The film is written and directed by Prashanth Neel who is most famously known for his magnum opus KGF: Chapter 1 and KGF: Chapter 2. The film is also set to feature renowned actors includng Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Disha Patani, among others playing other important roles in the film that is slated to hit the theatres in 2023. Apart from Salaar, Prabhas has Adipurush in his kitty which is expected to clash with Thalapathy Vijay’s tentatively titled film Thalapathy66, both of which are looking to hit the screens on Sankranthi of 2023.
