Since the film is about national highways he felt that this title would be apt for the film. Meanwhile Sillunu Oru Kadhal director Krishna also wanted the same title for his next film which revolves around a national highway but finally he settled down with Nedunchalai.
And the twist in the tale is Powerstar Srinivasan! It is now heard that the actor has bagged the title rights of Desiya Nedunchalai for his next film with Sanghavi.
