Nithya Menen seeks more roles in Sandalwood

Nithya Menen, who entered films as a child artiste, has acted in films of all four southern languages: Malayalam,Kannada,Telugu and Tamil.

Though she is from Kerala, she grew up in Bengaluru and is fluent in Kannada. She made her Kannada debut in Josh (2009) for which she received the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress (Kannada).

The actress recently attended a press meet in Bengaluru to promote her billingual 180, in which she shares screen space with Siddharth and Priya Anand.

“I am a Bengaluru girl living in Indira Nagar. I got a break in Kannada films four years ago. But I have been able to act only in a few films. Thankfully, my Telugu debut Ala Modalaindi gave me a big break in Telugu. I hope my next Kannada film Jogayya will give me a big break in Kannada,” Nithya was quoted as saying.
