Amitabh Bachchan - Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink was remade in Tamil as Nerkonda Paarvai and it starred Ajith Kumar in the lead role. Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariang played the three pivotal characters. The film turned out to be a successful venture at the box office and also earned critical acclaim. The fans and critics appreciated Ajith’s decision to take up an important film like Nerkonda Paarvai that carries a strong message for the society. Following the Tamil remake, Pink is now being remade in Telugu and this remake is titled Vakeel Saab. We will be seeing Power Star Pawan Kalyan playing the male lead, donning the role of a lawyer. The three female leads are played by Anjali, Nivetha Thomas and Ananya Nagalla.

The film has now made it to the headlines due to a leaked still and it has gone viral on social media. This leaked still has garnered huge attention. Pawan Kalyan and Anjali are spotted inside the court in this leaked picture. Anjali has liked the picture through her official Twitter page and has indirectly confirmed that this still is from the film. It looks like certain shots were sent for VFX and Computer Graphics related works and maybe, this picture could have leaked from there. Notably, this is not the first time the makers of Vakeel Saab are facing this issue and during the initial stages of filming, a still of Pawan Kalyan had leaked. However, this key still getting leaked on social media has shocked a lot of people in the Telugu film industry. The fans have also been taken aback by this incident.

Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, in association with Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP, Vakeel Saab has music scored by current hit sensation Thaman. On the technical side, this courtroom drama has cinematography by P.S.Vinod and editing by Prawin Pudi. Sriram Venu of Middle Class Abbayi fame is helming this venture which has got huge expectations among the fans. Interestingly, Vakeel Saab marks Pawan Kalyan's return to films after a gap of two years and when he gets to say the "No means No" dialogue, it will surely reach a massive audience and the impact will be surely felt, just like how it happened with Nerkonda Paarvai.

The first single from Vakeel Saab, called ‘Maguva Maguva’ was released a few weeks back and it became a chartbuster. Thaman’s breezy composition and Sid Sriram’s soulful rendition made the fans fall in love with the song. The film’s release date will be decided only post the pandemic situation.
