Neha Sharma with Varun Sandesh

Hot Tollywood debutants Varun Sandesh and Neha Sharma come together inthe remake of a Tamil film. Varun Sandesh made his debut in Happy Days and Neha Sharma made her steamy debutwith Ram Charan Teja in Chiruta; both films released on the same day and were declared hits almost instantaneously. While Happy Days was a medium budget college flick with no star power, Chiruta was the launchpad for the star son of one of the most powerful men in Tollywood.

Now these two actors are coming together in the Telugu remake of Dhanush starrer Pollaadhavan. Dhanush, Rajinikanth's son-in-law, proved his acting mettle by portraying an irresponsible lower middle-class unemployed youth who attains his dream of owning a motorcycle. Pollaadhavan was inspired from The Bicycle Thief (1948) a neo-realist film, considered one of the greatest Italian films of the era.

Gemini Kiran is to produce this film in which Sandeep Gunnam Reddy (Gangaraju Gunnam's son) will be making his directorial debut. This film is planned for a January 23 launch.
