More Telugu films in Kerala

Since�dubbed versions of Telugu blockbusters are doing stupendous business in Kerala, the grapevine has it that more dubbed Telugu movies will be released in the coming days. Telugu superstar Nagarjuna's recent blockbuster King (2008) and debutant Varun Sandesh's super hit Kotha Bangaru Lokam (2008) are the latest�to please Kerala audiences with all�popular ingredients.

King is�about Chandra Pratap Varma aka King (Nagarjuna), a member of a royal family who takes over the legacy and riches after the death of his father Raja Varma (Sobhan Babu). Jealous of his powers and prosperity, King's uncles plan to kill King indirectly. While he is on a business trip,he is killed by his fiancée Swapna (Mamta Mohandas).

Meanwhile, another thread is incorporated through the episode of Bottu Seenu (again played by Nagarjuna) who falls in love with a singer Sravani (Trisha). Seenu is too much of a goon for her, so he poses as a software engineer named Sarath�and Sravani starts to like him. Meanwhile, King's uncles send goons to look for King, thinking he's still alive. After some clashes between them, one of the uncles proposes a deal with Seenu to pose as King and return to the palace. The rest of the plot develops from this point. Nagarjuna's King has collected Rs. 18 crores in one week and is the biggest hit of 2009 in Tollywood.

Kotha Bangaru Lokam revolves around Balu (Varun Sandesh), son of lovable middle-class couple Prakashraj and Jayasudha. Swapna (Shweta Prasad), daughter of a strict and rich father, is�Balu's classmate�in a residential college�at Visakhapatnam. Expectedly, Balu and Swapna fall in love. Unexpectedly, Swapna is dismissed from the college after a picture�showing them together is published in a newspaper. Balu is told that� if he wants to write his exams, he must bring his father to college. Balu goes home and tells his parents a completely different story.

While his parents�think he is studying for his exams, he is busy daydreaming about Swapna. Finally, he brings his father to�college, not to write the exam but to see Swapna and her parents. They come to know that Swapna's parents have already arranged�her marriage with somebody else. On the same day, Balu's father gets killed in a train accident. Later, Swapna runs away from her house to live with Balu, but Balu doesn't show up because of his father's death. What happens next�forms the rest of the plot.
