Modern Love Chennai is a new anthology web series that is set to release on most streaming platforms Prime Video. The anthology series follows the success of Modern Love Mumbai and Modern Love Hyderabad which was released last year and now they have revealed the trailer of Modern Love Chennai. The six-episode anthology featured distinct love stories that are set in the metropolitan city and has the acclaimed director Thiagarajan Kumaraja as the creative head. The six-episode is directed by Veteran director Bharathiraja, Vazhakku Enn 18/9 fame Balaji Sakthivel, Krishnakumar Ramakumar, Karthi's Japan director Raja Murugan, director Akshay Sundher and director Thiagarajan Kumaraja.
The quirky trailer of the web series Modern Love Chennai shows different characters from different parts of the anthology. The anthology features Ashok Selvan, Ritu Varma, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Pawan Alex, Kishore, Ramya Nambeesan, Vasundhara and other leading actresses in quick shots. The trailer shows that the film will have six different stories that will broaden perspectives as the video shows a middle aged couple, a young couple, some sequenced that happen in school and so on. The trailer also shows that the anthology will be released on the OTT streaming platform on May 18. The video also features two songs from the anthology and the two melodies will surely melt hearts.
Modern Love Chennai also has well-known music composers on board including Isaignani Ilayaraja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, G.V. Prakash Kumar and Sean Roldan. There only a handful of anthology series in Tamil that include Paava Kadhaigal and Navarasa on Netflix, Putham Pudhu Kaalai and Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyadha on Prime Video, Sillu Karupatti, Victim and so on. As modern Love Chennai has directors from different walks who pick and tell stories in their unique way, it will surely be an enjoyable watch. The series is set to premiere next week on May 18 on the streaming platform Prime Video.
