Young actor Siddharth's Midnight's Children, an adaptation of Salman Rushdie's 1981 novel of the same name, and actress Sridevi's comeback film English-Vinglish will be screened at the 37th Toronto International Film Festival.

Midnight's Children deals with India's transition from British colonialism to independence and the partition of India. Siddharth plays the role of Shiva, while Shriya Saran will be seen in an important role in this film, which was majorily shot in Colombo.
 
English-Vinglish is a funny story about how and Indian woman who struggles to learn English to help her family. The festival will take place from September 6 to 16.
