Popular Tamil-Malayalam actress Meera Nandan, who shot to fame with the Malayalam flick Mulla, followed by Valmiki in Tamil, is making news for the first time for a wrong reason!
Chellamuthu, director of her new Tamil film Suriya Nagaram, alleged that the actress is tarnishing his image in the industry by spreading stories about his recent love proposal. Earlier, there were reports that the director fell in love with Meera Nandan and proposed to her over phone.
"She refused my proposal saying her parents had already fixed her marriage with someone else. Following this, I wished her all the best and stopped thinking about the issue. But she is spreading it to everyone in the unit," the director was quoted by a Tamil tabloid as saying.
When asked about this matter, the actress said that she spoke about the incident only to her mother, so the director's allegations are baseless.
