Meera Jasmine as Muslim girl again
In Mohabbath, National award winner Meera Jasmine will once again enact the role of a Muslim girl after her much acclaimed Paadam Onnu: Oru Vilappam and Perumazhakkalam, directed by T.V. Chandran and Kamal respectively.
Meera will play a Muslim girl Sajna in famous lyric writer and producer East Coast Vijayan's second directial venture Mohabbath (Malayalam), a Muslim social romantic drama.
"Mohabbath is a modern romantic film, a triangular love story set against a rich Muslim family background. It has five songs written by Vayalar Sarathchandra Varma and set to score by old timer N. Balakrishnan," East Coast Vijayan said.
New face Anand Michael and Munna (of Ravaanan fame) are the heroines. Others in the cast include Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaranmoodu and Sari.
