Mathivanan Rajendran is finally playing a solo lead role - in the upcoming movie Andhra Mess. Mathivanan has been seen in supporting roles in Mayakkam Enna and Vallinam. Andhra Mess is directed by Jai and is said to be a road film. Mathivanan plays a crook in the film and he was surprised when Jai narrated the script, and asked him to play the lead.
Andhra Mess is about four youngsters who are fit for nothing. During a road trip, they face a lot of issues. How they sort them out, is said to form the crux of the story.
