Well, the teasers and posters of Mariyaan might give us a sad feel, but director Bharatbala has confirmed that the film will have a happy ending. The director also revealed that the team is planning to release the film on May 31. Songs composed by A.R. Rahman is already the talk of the town. Dhanush and Parvathi Menon play the lead roles in this flick.
The director earlier revealed to Galatta.com that the entire film has been shot in sync sound and it will be a visual treat to Kollywood film buffs. The film revolves around the story of human survival, partially adapted from a real-life crisis event of Indian migrants made hostages in Sudan. Camera is handled by French cinematographer Marc Koninckx. The film is produced by Venu Ravichandran under his Aascar Films banner.
