In what has been an unforgettable day for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans everywhere, there's no stopping the excitement surrounding the Tamil superstar's latest release, Leo, which continues to go strong in theatres everywhere. The mass action drama directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and featuring music composed by Anirudh Ravichander is the talk of the town as the various Easter eggs in the film's plot have created a huge debate among fans on social media. One such aspect in Leo is the chatter around the flashback scene narrated by actor Mansoor Ali Khan to Gautham Menon, with a lot of debate surrounding it and how it is fake within the context of the film's plot.

With Leo smashing its way into the 500-crore club in gross collections at the worldwide box office earlier in the day, the film's team has now released a special deleted scene featuring Mansoor Ali Khan narrating the flashback giving audiences a completely new and fresh perspective of the sequence. The perspective scene footage starts off with Mansoor Ali Khan narrating Leo's flashback and saying that there will be multiple viewpoints of the incident where Vijay makes his escape from Sanjay Dutt as Antony Das and Arjun as Harold Das. The Leo deleted scene then shows Mansoor Ali Khan telling Gautham Menon that each person will have a different perspective adding that this is how he interprets it before beginning to narrate the incidents that took place in the film in the year 1999 when he was a drug peddler in Vijay's gang led by Sanjay Dutt and Arjun.

This latest Leo scene has come out at a time when there's been a big talk on social media in regard to the sequence, with Lokesh Kanagaraj also confirming that the flashback narrated by Mansoor Ali Khan is indeed fake. With this latest deleted scene now out, it also puts a full stop to the claims that there was no such footage that was shot during principal photography earlier this year. The Leo deleted scene also creates new excitement on the possibilities of where director Lokesh Kanagaraj will take the story forward if in case a sequel, Leo 2, with 'Thalapathy' Vijay is greenlit and goes into development in the future.

Considering Leo has been established to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) alongside films Kaithi (2019) starring Karthi and Kamal Haasan's Vikram (2022), the wait will now be on how Lokesh Kanagaraj will build the story leading up to its possible sequel.
