As reported earlier, Bollywood’s box office hot flick Ishqiya will be remade in Tamil. The original version of the film had Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles. It is rumoured that Lakshmi Rai has been approached to reprise the role of Vidya Balan in the remake. Apparently, Lakshmi Rai is also up for the game as she feels that the character will have a lot of scope to perform.
Reportedly, Ishqiya will be made as a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. However, Lakshmi Rai refrained from talking more as she hasn’t finalized on anything as of now.
