National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh's sister Revathy SK is making her debut as a director with the upcoming short film, Thank U. A cute first look poster has also been released for the project, which has been produced by their father G. Suresh Kumar, and Revathy's husband Nithin Mohan. Revathy, who previously worked as an assistant director to legendary filmmaker Priyadarshan for a few years, announced the big news about her short film, Thank U, on Instagram and wrote, "Taking blessings 🙏from my Mother Menaka Suresh and Father G Suresh Kumar, and my other parents 🙏Jalaja Mohan & P. Mohan Nair; And by giving Pranams to my Gurus 🙏Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam, 🙏Director Priyadarshan and 🙏Yoga acharya Tara Sudarshan, I am delighted to announce my Directorial debut of the Short Film, THANK U with this poster. (sic)" 

Tagging the people associated with the film, Revathy went on to extend her gratitude and thanked them all for their contributions to making Thank U a reality. She said, "I thank every single person in my life from the bottom of my heart for their guidance and support. I thank my entire family for being my pillar support, particularly my husband Nithin Mohan. My brothers, sisters and friends, I thank you for always cheering and rooting for me! Need all your blessings 🙏 Coming very soon to you - THANK U (sic)". Revathy is the latest family member to make her entry in the entertainment industry after her mother Menaka, who was a yesteryear actor, followed by her father Suresh Kumar, a producer in Malayalam cinema, while her sister Keerthy Suresh is currently one of the leading names in South India. 

Expressing her joy at her sister's directorial debut, an elated Keerthy Suresh too took to her Instagram Story and wrote, "Super happy to finally see my sister debuting as a director for this sweet short film 'Thank U' Sending you loads of love and hugs engakkaveee". Keerthy, on the other hand, will be seen in several big promising projects up next starting with the highly-anticipated Maamannan alongside Udhayanidhi Stalin, 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil directed by Mari Selvaraj and featuring music by A. R. Rahman, which is scheduled for a June release. She also plays the female lead in Siren starring Jayam Ravi and Anupama Parameswaran being directed by debutant Antony Bhagyaraj. The actress also has in her lineup upcoming Tamil ventures like Raghu Thatha and Revolver Rita, which are in various stages of development. With her performance in Nani's Dasara earlier this year receiving immense praise, Keerthy will be seen alongside 'Megastar' Chiranjeevi in the Telugu remake of Ajith Kumar's Vedalam titled Bhola Shankar, which also stars Tamannaah, which is scheduled to release on August 11.
